Congruent to the Provincial Government of Bataan’s vision of stable, empowered, and resilient Bataeño families, the Provincial School Board (PSB) has approved a 66.2 million budget for the implementation of the Healthy Paaralan para sa Matatag at Malusog na KaBATAAN program.

Said program aims to encourage students to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle to avoid lifestyle-related diseases and prolong the life expectancy of Bataenos, as well as promote the Health Promotion Board initiatives such as Tobacco Free Generation (TFG), Youth Health Ambassador, Peer Facilitators, and prevention of illegal drug use among the students.

The Healthy Paaralan Program is set to be formally launched in 168 schools across the province, benefiting 27, 636 students.
